Jessica Simpson shoes donated for Haiti.

The American singer Jessica Simpson is raising money to send shoes to earthquake victims in Haiti.

Simpson teamed with the American organization "Soles4Souls". The charitable group has pledged to work with other aid agencies to donate a million pairs of shoes.

The star urged the public to "do everything possible for the victims in Haiti. Only five dollars buy pairs of shoes for two persons."

"Soles4Souls" reported that the quake survivors need shoes to not hurt your feet with broken glass or twisted metal of the many buildings that collapsed in the earthquake. The footwear is also important to avoid infections from sewage.
