Vin Diesel came to DR with a planeload of medicine, food and other items to help Haiti.

American actor Vin Diesel was in the country yesterday afternoon on a private plane that brought loaded with food, medicine and other items which will to Haiti today.

According to the information provided, upon his arrival to the country the artist visited President Leonel Fernández and this morning was meeting again with the president to coordinate humanitarian action.

Vin Diesel has a close relationship with President Fernandez and the Global Foundation, in fact, the father of the artist frequently travels the country to teach in film school who chairs the Foundation Fernandez. In this institution there are several Haitian students pursuing their studies in the country.

Diesel plans to travel to Haiti this morning with a group of journalists.
